Billy Ray Williams was born May 1, 1949, in Maysville, Oklahoma, to Sherman and Janie (Felan) Williams. He passed away May 4, 2025, in Mustang, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years.
Billy grew up in Maysville and graduated from Maysville High School. In 1969 he enlisted in the Navy where he received a National Defense Service Medal. Billy enjoyed golf, skiing and traveling and seeing new places. One of his favorite places to visit was Cancun. Billy also enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Billy was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be dearly missed. Billy is survived by his wife, Dana Williams, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son Jeff Williams and Julie of Mustang, Oklahoma; daughter Leslie Williams and Stan Morin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother Sherman Lee Williams of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; sisters Sue Hammett of Longview, Texas, Brenda Ellett of Moore, Oklahoma, and Judy Brown of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; grandchildren Riley Morin, Austin Williams, Ashlyn Williams and Marshall Morin; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Billy is preceded in death by his grandparents, JJ and Francis Felan and Charlie and Charity Williams; parents, Sherman and Janie Williams; and brother, John Charlie “Bobby” Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, at Abundant Love Fellowship, 1005 12th Street, Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W.
