Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, GiGi and friend whose life was marked by dedication, strength and love for her family.

She married the love of her life, Kelton Strickland, and together they shared 42 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, loyalty and family.

Beverly dedicated over 39 years of service to the Garvin County Assessor’s Office. She served as county assessor for 12 years before retiring in 2018. She was respected for her knowledge, dedication and commitment to her fair work and community.

Above all else, Beverly cherished her family. She is survived by her husband, Kelton Strickland; daughter, Misti Brown and husband Garrid Brown; son, Colton Strickland and wife Cherysh Strickland; and her four beloved grandchildren, Kannon Brown, Cora Strickland, Cotah Strickland and Kysen White.

Beverly enjoyed the simple things in life—beautiful flowers, traveling, listening to country music and cooking. Family vacations to Port Aransas were especially meaningful to her. She was a devoted Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners fan and enjoyed selling BeautiControl, where she made very best of friends. At home and family gatherings she loved playing board games and was very competitive. Her favorite color was purple.
