Elmore City-Pernell High School Badgers opened their golf season on March 11, placing fourth at Frederick.
Individually, Carsen Chapman placed fifth and received a medal. Cache Ross placed tenth. Other team members were Owen McConnell, Carston Lauderdale, Rylan Perrin, TJ Hedgecoth and Luke Bracey.
The team will compete again Wednesday at Seminole.
The junior high team began its season March 10 at Seminole. Team members include Ricky Foster, Luke McIntosh, Dillon Brewer, Eli McConnell and Cannon Johnson.
