Veterinarian Jacob Gollihare administers a vaccine during Saturday‘s low-cost vaccine clinic at the Garvin County Fairgrounds. During the event, sponsored by Pauls Valley Animal Welfare Society and Garvin County 4-H, volunteers helped local veterinarians as they administered 910 vaccines and placed 175 microchips. In addition to Gollihare, veterinarians Carolyn Williams and Shawna McCune assisted with the clinic. More than 15 Garvin County 4H members, club leaders and Garvin County OSU Extension office staff volunteered for the event.
