Frances Irene (Stewart) Scott was born May 11, 1932, in Holly, Colorado, to Clifford Leonard Stewart and Anna Marie (Allen) Stewart. The family moved to Oklahoma when Frances was just a young girl. Frances attended Oklahoma City Schools, graduating from Capitol Hill High School in 1950. Frances was active in choir and band while in high school. Shortly after high school, Frances met Charley Leo Scott. They were married March 25, 1951. Soon after getting married, Uncle Sam decided Charley needed to be in the Army and go to Korea. Charley and Frances were married for 66 years until Charley passed away in 2017. Frances was a loving mother of four sons, Charley Dale (1954), Danny Paul (1958), Clifford Dean (1960) and Douglas C (1964).
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Marie; her husband, Charley; and son, Danny. She is survived by sons, Dale and wife Gina of Moore, Dean and wife Anita of Purcell, Doug and wife Karen of Tuttle; seven grandchildren, Brian, Andrew, Deana, Jason, Josh, Brad and Mindy; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Stanford of New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the staff of The Willows where Frances lived in her final days on this earth.
