Stratford wins over Wynnewood
Garvin County’s 2A teams ended the season playing each other Saturday, with Stratford (21-3, #9) earning the 60-32 win over Wynnewood (10-12).
The Lady Bulldogs also won 71-20 over Little Axe (0-17, Class 3A) Friday.
The Lady Savages finished their season Monday with a 62-34 loss to Harrah (20-3, #9 in Class 4A).
Both local schools will play in the Districts at 6 p.m. Thursday. Regionals will be Tuesday through Feb. 28.
Stratford will host Minco (7-15) for the Area II, District 4 Championship. In Regionals, they will play the corresponding team from The Academy (8-16) at Christian Heritage (15-6, #19) game.
Wynnewood will go to Dibble (15-8) for the Area IV, District 4 Championship. In Regionals, they will play the corresponding team from the Konowa (6-15) at Vanoss (222, #5) game.
Lindsay
The Leopardettes (9-16, Class 3A) won 58-35 against Crooked Oak (4-20, Class 3A) Friday and lost 42-24 at Purcell (11-14, Class 4A) Tuesday.
Lindsay will host Comanche (13-9) for the Area II, District 3 Championship at 6 p.m. Friday. Regionals will be Tuesday through Feb. 28 at Washington, and Lindsay will play the corresponding team from the Marlow (8-16) at Washington (23-1, #1) game.
Pauls Valley
The Lady Panthers (16-8, #13 in Class 4A) finished their regular season with an 88-47 loss to Washington (24-1, #1 in Class 3A) and a 44-34 loss to Chickasha (22-3, #7 in Class 4A).
Pauls Valley will host Ardmore at 6 p.m. Saturday for the Area II, District 4 Championship.
Regionals will be Tuesday through Feb. 28. The Lady Panthers will head to Lone Grove to play the corresponding team from the Plainview (5-14) at Lone Grove (18-5, #18) district game.
