Where is your favorite place to eat out in Garvin County?
Next week, that question won’t be rhetorical.
In case you've missed reading about my cake recipe quest, I have a real appreciation for great food. Cooking is sometimes fun, but eating delicious food is always amazing. I love to try new cuisines, and I’ll check out any restaurant at least once.
I also enjoy competition, a love sparked on the former soccer fields that were next to Pauls Valley High and grown when my Whitebead Chiefs eighth-grade basketball team went undefeated. It’s what led me to continue playing basketball to the collegiate level and to covering sports for the newspaper as I do now.
With all that in mind, I am thrilled to introduce a very exciting new project here at the News Star:
Best Restaurants in Garvin County
We here at the News Star want your help to figure out where to find the best foods in Garvin County. We will have several different categories, hoping to find the true best things to eat around the county.
The ballots will appear in the Feb. 26 and March 6 editions of the paper. Voting will end on March 13.
Winners will be announced in a special section in the March 27 edition.
Restaurants and other businesses are encouraged to purchase advertising to support this competition.
