New law will reshape election calendar beginning in 2026

OKLAHOMA CITY – A new law modernizing Oklahoma’s election calendar will affect elections as of Jan. 1, 2026, with the intent of bringing greater clarity, consistency and efficiency to when elections are held across the state.
