Terry Gene Felan

Terry Gene Felan, a self-employed welder and devoted family man, passed away peacefully December 18, 2025, in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. He was born October 26, 1954, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, to Richard and Wanda (Williams) Felan Hudson.

A proud member of the Future Farmers of America in high school, Terry transitioned from his scholarly pursuits into a thriving career as a welder. He found immense joy in his work and the relationships he built with the people and companies he served.

His hands crafted more than just metal; they forged bonds that reflected his dedication and love for his craft.

Terry’s heart was not only devoted to his profession, but it also overflowed with love for his family.

He was a proud father to Daniel and Tara and a loving grandfather to Zane, Jakob, Mason, Nathan and Jasper.

As an ordained minister, Terry never served in that capacity but was passionate about his faith and was quick to share it with his family and friends. He loved Jesus and dedicated himself to reading and studying his Bible, guiding others with the wisdom and kindness he found within its pages. His unwavering faith was a cornerstone of his life, influencing those around him and leaving a lasting impact on many. Terry was a proud member of Living Faith Christian Church in Apache, Oklahoma, where he served faithfully, even keeping the church clean and ready for worship for many years.

Terry enjoyed various hobbies that brought him peace and happiness. He loved to play guitar. Additionally, fishing provided him with a sense of tranquility as he embraced nature’s beauty alongside his loyal dog, Lionel, who was never far from his side.

Terry is survived by his son, Daniel Felan and Brandee of Apache, Oklahoma; daughter, Tara Long and Mikel of Little Elm, Texas; grandchildren: Zane Whitnah, Jakob Felan, Mason Felan, Nathan Felan and Jasper Felan; and great-grandson, Isaiah Jakob Felan.

He is preceded in death by parents, Richard and Wanda Felan Hudson; brother, Jerry Felan; and sister, Sherry Felan.

Services are pending at this time. Cremation is under the direction of John W.
