Rocks, fossils and artifacts

Geologists from the Oklahoma Geological Survey helped local residents identify rocks and fossils brought in during Pauls Valley’s first Artifact Identification Day and Geologist Office Hours on the Road event Saturday at the Nora Sparks Warren Library. Avocational anthropologists from the Oklahoma Anthropological Society were also on site to help identify finds and answer questions.
