Garvin County students among fall graduates at University of Central Oklahoma

Two Garvin County students are among more than 1,000 fall graduates set to be recognized during the University of Central Oklahoma’s fall 2025 commencement ceremonies Dec. 12-13, in Central’s Hamilton Field House in Edmond.

Skylar Walker, of Maysville, will graduate Summa Cum Laude with a BS, Biology-Biomedical Sciences and BS, Forensic Science-Molecular Biology, and Caleb Henley will graduate Cum Laude with a BA, Criminal Justice-General Criminal Justice and BS, Forensic Science.

UCO President Todd G. Lamb will give remarks at each of the university’s four ceremonies, which are scheduled as follows:

•1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12: College of Education and Professional Studies

•5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12: Jackson College of Graduate Studies

•10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 13: College of Business and College of Liberal Arts 

•2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13: College of Mathematics and Science and College of Fine Arts and Design.

The ceremonies may be viewed online at streaming. uco.edu, with livestreaming beginning approximately 15 minutes before each ceremony.

Additionally, Central will livestream each commencement ceremony on UCO’s Facebook page. The Facebook livestream will capture the traditional graduate walk from Old North to Hamilton Field House, weather permitting.
