Wynnewood made a statement last Friday night against Okemah. The Savages beat the Okemah Panthers 48-0 and moved another step closer to a District title.
Wynnewood is undefeated on the season 7-0 and in District play 4-0. Wynnewood travels to Frederick this Thursday to play the third place Bombers. Frederick is 4-3 on the season and 3-1 in District play.
Wynnewood beat the Bombers 41-6 last year at Wynnewood. Kickoff was scheduled for tonight (Oct. 24) at 7 p.m. but with the potential of severe storms rolling thru, as of press time, the game was rescheduled for Thursday evening (Oct. 23) at 7 p.m.
