The Cross County State meet will be held at North Rock Creek in Shawnee Saturday, Oct. 25.
Area qualified runners are: Elmore City-Pernell’s Remlee McIntosh 13:15.1, who finished as the Class A Cross Country Regional Runner-Up; Pauls Valley's Rylan Close with a fourth place finish of 16:34.1 and Jorge Quinonez with a 21st place finish of 18:01.5; Lindsay’s Marisol Hernandez with a 10th place finish at Heritage Hall of 12:39; Wynnewood's Reagan Reed with a 28th place finish of 14:50.1; and Stratford's Deacon Weddle with a 18th place finish of 19:58.4.
Two Garvin County teams qualified to run at North Rock Creek Saturday. Those include the Pauls Valley girls, who finished third, Rachel Hamilton, 12:40.8, Savannah Johnson, 12:53.8, Blakely Shelton, 13:05.7, Ella Miller, 13:15.4, Alexus Cates, 13:40.3; and the Wynnewood boys, Antoio Median, 19:25.4, Jaylon Pitts, 19:52.0, Kelby Stinchcomb, 20:13.0, Samuel Medina, 20:54.4, Ryder Reed, 21:27.0.
Meetings are set for 8 a.m. Saturday, with races following at 8:30 a.m.
