The Stratford PTO will host a fall carnival Oct. 23 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at 341 N. Oak St. There will be food, games, a dunk tank, a cake walk and inflatables. Admission is free. Tickets will be available at the door for games, and food booths will accept cash or tickets. All ages are welcome to join in the costume contest at 6 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the funniest, scariest and most creative costumes.
Stratford’s official trick or treat night will be Thursday, Oct. 30.
Maysville’s official trick or treat night will be Saturday, Oct. 25. The Maysville First Baptist Church, 300 Ripley, will host a trunk or treat that night from 5 to 7 p.m. with food, inflatables and barrel-train rides.
The Wynnewood Public Library is hosting a pumpkin decorating contest. Entry forms are available at the library, 108 N. Dean A McGee Ave., in Wynnewood. Decorated pumpkins should be dropped off by Friday, Oct. 24. Public voting will be Oct. 27-30 at the library, with winners announced Oct. 31. For more information contact the library at 405-665-2512.
Wynnewood Elementary School’s annual Fall Carnival is Oct. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the school, 301 E. Chickasaw St. Everyone is invited to attend the fundraiser which will include carnival games, food, moon bounces, a hay ride, bingo and a silent auction. There will be a costume contest at 6:30 p.m. and a pumpkin carving contest at 7 p.m.
The Wynnewood Public Library will be hosting a Trunk or Treat in front of the library, 108 N. Dean A McGee Ave., October 30 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. There will be a contest for the best decorated trunk. Registration forms are available at the library.
Wynnewood’s Downtown Trick or Treat will be Oct. 30 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sponsored by the Wynnewood Chamber of Commerce, the event will include a costume contest at 4:30 p.m. in the 100 block of N. Dean A. McGee Ave. Cash prizes will be awarded.
Lindsay’s Chamber of Commerce will host Trick or Treat on Main Oct. 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. Businesses and individuals are welcome to set up tables or vehicles along Main Street to hand out candy to trick or treaters.
Lindsay will host the second annual “Hide and Seek with the Police” Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Glenn Curly Park, 804 SW 4th. There will be prizes, games and ultimate bragging rights will be up for grabs. The event is open to children ages 4 to high school, and the cost to participate is $5 per person. Sign-up sheets are available at the Lindsay Police Department, the Lindsay City Office and at the event.
Elmore City’s official trick or treat night is Oct. 30. South Main Street will be blocked off starting at 5:30 p.m. for those who would like to set up for trunk or treat and the First Baptist Church of Elmore City, 107 S. Texas St. will have a trunk or treat from 5 to 7 p.m. in its parking lot. There will be free hotdogs in the fellowship hall and drawings every 15 minutes for gas and grocery gift cards.
Pauls Valley’s annual downtown trick or treat, Boo on the Bricks, hosted by the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce, will be Friday, Oct. 31, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Families are also invited to come trick or treat and play games at the Garvin, Agee, Carlton Law Office, 101 E. Grant Ave., in Pauls Valley from 4 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 31. They will have a cornhole toss, bowling pin drop and table pong.
