East Central University president and Pauls Valley native Wendell Godwin will be the guest speaker at the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual Chamber Banquet Oct. 23.
This year’s celebration, built around the theme “An Evening to Fall for Pauls Valley,” will be held at the Bosa Community Center, 207 Bosa Ave., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
The chamber will also announce its Citizen of the Year and Corporate Citizen of the Year awards at the banquet, and the evening’s activities will include a silent auction, an open bar and the always popular dessert dash.
Tickets are $45 in advance or $55 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at the PV Chamber of Commerce, 112 E. Paul Ave., or online at PaulsValleyChamber.com.
