Members of OU’s Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) participating in the 28th annual Run to Dallas ahead of Saturday’s OU-Texas game traveled through Garvin County as they ran the game ball south on U.S. Highway 77 Wednesday.
The group started the run south Wednesday morning in Norman, passing through the Garvin County communities of Paoli, Pauls Valley and Wynnewood mid-day.
A small crowd of local supporters gathered outside Pauls Valley National Bank on the corner of Chickasaw Street (Hwy 77) and Paul Avenue in Pauls Valley to cheer the midshipmen on as they passed through.
