This month marks 20 years since Pauls Valley’s Toy and Action Figure Museum first opened its doors to visitors. To celebrate the milestone the museum will host the International Superhero Festival Oct. 18.
Guests are invited to come dressed as their favorite superhero or, better yet, as their own original superhero and be a part of a downtown scavenger hunt to gather clues to save the town from the supervillains and their diabolical plan to send the whole town to another dimension.
Participation in the scavenger hunt is free and the museum will have free admission all day. Other planned activities include trivia contests for prizes, photo ops and challenges throughout the day.
Registration will be from 10 to 11 a.m. A group photo is scheduled for around 11 a.m. and the scavenger hunt will run from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a presentation of awards at 1:30 p.m.
The Toy and Action Figure Museum is at 111 S. Chickasaw St. For more information call 405-238-6300.
