The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an Elmore City woman was killed in a head-on collision Saturday night on State Highway 29 about two and a half miles east of Elmore City.
According to a preliminary report from OHP, 73-year-old Phyllis K. Hensley was traveling west on Highway 29 around 8:45 p.m. when her vehicle entered the eastbound lane and struck a vehicle that was traveling eastbound head on.
Hensley was killed in the collision. The driver of the eastbound vehicle, William A. Thompson, 83, of Elmore City, was listed as injured. Seatbelts were in use in both vehicles, according to OHP Troopers.
