PASS Coalition and the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office are offering a free community training on the dangers of opioids and fentanyl in our community, how to recognize an overdose and how to administer Narcan to save lives. The class will be Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Garvin County Fairgrounds’ Community Building.
A light dinner will be provided by First United Bank, and free Narcan kits, provided by Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers, will be available while supplies last. The PASS Coalition will also provide free lock boxes to safely store prescription medications and at-home medication disposal kits for participants.
