Garvin County Free Fair gets off to competitive start

The 110th Garvin County Free Fair got underway Saturday with the crowning of fair royalty and a flurry of contests featuring everything from cupcakes to best-dressed pets.

In a new contest this year, nine teams of youth 18 and under competed to see who had the best decorated cupcakes in “Cupcake Wars.”
