Maysville educators receive ‘healthy’ recognition

Two Maysville educators received honors from Healthy Schools Oklahoma during an awards luncheon in Bethany July 23.

Maysville Elementary School Principal John Edwards was named Healthy Schools Oklahoma Principal of the Year and Maysville Elementary teacher Mandee Anderson was named Classroom Teacher of the Year by HSOK.

HSOK is a school health promotion program with the mission of promoting and maintaining healthy lifestyle choices in Oklahoma through preventive community based school health based programs for students, their families, and faculty.
