County students earn spring honors at UCO

The University of Central Oklahoma recently announced the students named to the university’s spring honor rolls; a distinction given to those who achieve the highest academic standards.

For the spring 2025 semester, 1,692 students were named to the President’s Honor Roll, an honor achieved by those who recorded a “straight-A” or 4.0 GPA.

In addition, 1,400 students were named to the Dean’s Honor Roll, a list of those who achieved a 3.5 GPA or better for the semester and no grade lower than a B.

To be eligible for the President’s or Dean’s lists, students must complete at least 12 hours of on-campus class credit for the semester.

UCO students from Garvin County who were named to the President’s Honor Roll for the spring 2025 semester include: Laney Payton Conner, of Lindsay; and Savanna Nicole Bolen, Kimberly Diaz, Caleb Henley, Leah Nicole Nation, Meghan Elizabeth Roberts, and Jimmy Tu, all of Pauls Valley; Students from Garvin County named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for the spring 2025 semester include: Diego Gabriel Ortegon, of Lindsay; Bonnie Ann Seymour and Skylar Walker, both of Maysville; Anahi Garcia and Bridget Dawn Perry, both of Pauls Valley; Lonni J. Pittman, of Stratford; and Ashlee Lynn Dixon and Peyton Allyn, both of Wynnewood.
