Reda Don McKenzie

Reda Don McKenzie was born August 13, 1934, in Antioch, Oklahoma, to Emsley and Dollie (Davis) Sanders. She passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side May 4, 2025, at the age of 90 years.

Reda Don was a lifelong resident of the Maysville area. She worked many years as an aide at Griffin Memorial Hospital. Reda Don was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Reda Don enjoyed sewing, crochet, needlepoint and dancing. She was a member of The Foundation Church.

Reda Don will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.

The family would like to send a special thank you to granddaughter Kalyn (Robert), adoptive grandson Shem Weisner, and Sabrina, Torie, Jo, and A Path of Care Hospice for the excellent care they provided to Reda Don.

Reda Don is survived by: daughters Connie Lamb, Shela Alexander and Charity Tompkins; sons Earl Ricky Page and Robbie Scott; grandchildren Misty Page, Annie Potts, Jamie Page, Melissa Lamb and Kalyn Williams; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Reda Don is preceded in death by: her parents, Emsley and Dollie Sanders; late husbands Doc Tompkins and Frank McKenzie; brothers Earl Sanders and his wife Lucille, Jack Sanders and an infant brother; and grandson, Mark Lamb.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 8, 2025, at The Foundation Church in Maysville with Bro. Mike Deviney officiating. Burial at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at winansfuneralhome.com.
