A collision involving a school bus and a small passenger car shut down the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 between the Pauls Valley and Kimberlin Road exits just after 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. There were no passengers on the bus when the collision occured, and initial reports indicate the bus, which did not have any markings identifying which school district it belonged to, may have been in transit to a new district at the time of the accident. The driver of the bus was transported from the scene by helicopter. There was no immediate word on that driver’s condition or on the condition of the occupants in the other vehicle.
