Ted Almon Pigg, of Paoli, passed away January 27, 2025, in Paoli, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years. He was born September 7, 1945, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Rene Almon and Eula Mattie Lou (Ashley) Pigg. Ted was married to Debra Green in Pauls Valley in 1997.
Ted was a farmer and a rancher and a member of the Paoli First Baptist Church. As a young boy his family lived in Lubbock, Texas, for a time then moved to Wayne where he attended school and later to the Paoli area where he has made his home all of his life.
His surviving family includes his wife, Debra Pigg; children, Jason Pigg, Monty Pigg, Ashley Freeman and Chris Freeman; seven grandchildren; his sister, Linda Ballard; and brother, Terry Pigg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rene and Eula Mattie Lou Pigg. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Paoli First Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Tim Duncan and Pastor Terry Erwin.
