Service, honor, kindness: students learn about the Oklahoma Standard
Ninth-grade students from Pauls Valley Junior High helped Oklahoma State Foresters plant a sapling from the Survivor Tree at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum in the Pauls Valley High School courtyard Oct. 25.
Pauls Valley Junior High students had a unique opportunity last week to hear firsthand accounts of courage, resilience and strength from first responders, survivors and the family members of those who experienced the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995.
