Lillie Margaret “Lee” Bonner was born on July 8, 1947, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, to Jimmy and Jessie (Weeks) Adams and passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024, in Oklahoma City at the age of 77 years. Lee loved attending school activities and sports activities that her children Charl and Kacy were involved in. She loved her grandchildren and the time they spent together. She enjoyed camping trips to the lake, nature and the beauty of sunsets. She also enjoyed spending time junking in antique stores wherever the road took her, always finding priceless treasures. Lee ran a flower shop in Maysville for a few years with her daughter, Kacy. She would quickly tell you that Kacy did the flowers and she did the books. Lee anticipated returning to Arkansas to retire in the mountains with her husband, Wes. However, Wes passed before she was able to fulfill that dream. After the loss of Wes, she acquired a black and tan mini dachshund she named Tee. It was her constant companion for the last 15 years. Lee will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Charl Lampkin and Cody of Davis, Oklahoma; grandchildren Lea Smith, Layne Vinson, and Joshua Caldwell and Jennifer; great grandchildren: Nash, Emma and Wesley, and Aiden Genereaux, and Gavin Genereaux; sister-in-law, Betty Adams; and faithful friend, Jeanna Bearden.
She was preceded by her husband, Wes Bonner; parents, Jimmy and Jessie Adams; daughter, Kacy Caldwell; and sister, Dee Adams.
Graveside funeral services were held October 4, 2024, at Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial was under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home in Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at winansfuneralhome.com.
