Freddie L Miller was born July 8, 1935, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, to LD and Susie (Ward) Miller, and passed away at his home in Maysville, Oklahoma, on July 22, 2024, at the age of 89 years.
Freddie moved to Maysville in 1945. On January 10, 1957, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, Freddie married Margaret Pope. The couple made their home in Maysville where Freddie was a farmer/rancher. Freddie was a hard worker. He loved farming and watching his cows. Freddie was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and enjoyed cookouts and dinners.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret Miller; sons, Bryan Miller and Roni of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Damon Miller and Ramona of Maysville, Oklahoma; daughter, Laura Miller Wren and Mike of Lindsay; brother, Paul Miller and Barbara of Maysville; sisters, Erna Lee Chrisco and Rex of Wichita, Kansas, Minnie Smith and Charles of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Joyce Shea of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Julie Beam of Moore, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents, LD and Susie Miller; brothers, Lonnie Miller and Eugene Miller; and sister, Peggy Hatfield.
Funeral Services were held Friday, July 26, 2024, at Winans Funeral Home Chapel, Maysville, Oklahoma. Burial followed at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at winansfuneralhome.com.
