Destinie Rhealinn Wieck was born October 31, 1984, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and tragically passed away May 31, 2024, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, at the age of 39 years. Destinie grew up in Joy, Oklahoma, with her grandparents, Russell and Ernestine Moore. Her uncle, Larry Moore, was also a big part of her life along with her uncle, Stanley Holt. In her youth, she enjoyed fishing, camping, playing softball, going to Aunt Gayle’s at Texoma, and playing with her brothers, sister, and cousins.
Destinie was a “Jill of All Trades” and had several different occupations. She welded, farmed, landscaped for her Aunt Connie, and was a caregiver for several elderly people such as her great-aunt Annabell who loved her so much. The time she spent caring for others made a huge difference to them and their families for the better. Her very favorite things to do were to watch Holden play Friday night football, sit and drink her coffee on her cousin Julie’s front porch and listen to Ransom play the drums at the school nearby, and attend church and different events with Johnny, Shirley and the boys.
Destinie’s family and friends were important to her, but she was the proudest of Holden and Ransom. She also adored their adoptive parents, Johnny and Shirley Tyler and always said how grateful she was that they had come into her life.
She is survived by sons, Holden Tyler of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and Ransom Tyler of Maysville, Oklahoma; father, Raymond Wieck, Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Adam Wieck of Maysville and Ridge Wieck of Lawton, Oklahoma; sister, Lakisha Dunham of Texhoma, Oklahoma; first cousins, Julie Pitts of Maysville and Jesse Holt of Sulphur, Oklahoma; and a host of other family members and friends.
Destinie is preceded in death by her mother, Tami Wieck; grandparents, Russell and Ernestine Moore; and uncles, Larry Moore and Stanley Holt.
Memorial Services were held June 11, 2024, at The House in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at: www.winansfuneralhome.com.
