Joseph Roy Robison was born March 15, 1962, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Orval Dean and Lillie (Ince) Robison and passed away May 27, 2024, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, at the age of 62 years. Joseph was a graduate of Lindsay High School. On August 11, 1989, he married Lisa Merrell and they made their home in Lindsay. Joseph enjoyed fishing, being on his computer, and photography. He was a collector of things because he never knew when he might need it. He often used those parts while tinkering and building things. Joseph also enjoyed gardening, drawing, and painting and he was quite good at it. Joseph was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He loved his grandchildren and they were his pride and joy. Joseph enjoyed time he spent with family and friends and often reminisced about old times. Joseph will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Robison; mother, Lillie Robison; sons, Patrick Carter of Lindsay and Kyle Carter and Kendra of Duncan, Oklahoma; daughters, Nikki Lacher and Devin of Lindsay and Karlie Magnelli of Little Axe, Oklahoma; brothers, William Robison and Angie, A.D. Robison and DeAnn, Chuck Robison and Kelly, Cecil Robison and Amanda, all of Lindsay, and Earl Robison of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Junior Lacher, Cannon Carter, Nevaeh Lacher, Cacyn Carter, Winona Lacher, Corbyn Carter, Malachi Carter, and Caiden Lacher; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orval Dean Robison. Funeral Services were held Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the Assembly of God in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Burial followed at the Erin Springs Cemetery under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma.
