Cole appointed chairman of House Appropriations Committee

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) was appointed to become chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations this week. The Republican Steering Committee unanimously endorsed Cole late Tuesday night, with the GOP Conference ratifying it Wednesday morning.
Cole is the first Oklahoman ever to serve as chair of the Appropriations Committee.
