In a special meeting Dec. 18, Wynnewood city council members made the hard decision to decline a $900,000 TSET grant that would have allowed a renovation of the city’s municipal swimming pool.
The grant would have also provided a building on the pool property to house a Head Start program.
The decision was made, in large part, due to the city’s bleak financial situation.
