Linda Morphew, age 76, went to be in the arms of her sweet Jesus October 30, 2023, in Weatherford, Texas, with her daughter by her side. She was the widow of Mickie Morphew. They were married on June 25, 1965, and shared 43 years of marriage together.
Linda was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on January 14, 1947. She attended Maysville High School, graduating in 1965.
She enjoyed garage sales, fishing, playing penny-ante poker, and spending time with her family, but most of all she loved going to church and spending time in the Word of God and sharing it with others. She will be remembered for her smile and kind heart.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Morton and husband, Charles, of Weatherford, Texas; brother-in-law, Tommy Morphew and wife, Becky, of Marlow, Oklahoma, brother-in-law, Lee Rattigan of Bonita Springs, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mickie; parents Ancel and Pearl Huffman; and two sisters, Betty Huffman Stice and Patsy Huffman Rattigan.
A visitation time for family and friends was held Friday, November 3, 2023 at Winans Funeral Home from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. at The Abundant Love Fellowship in Maysville, Oklahoma, with Becky Morphew and Danny Gamble officiating. Burial will be held at Antioch Cemetery in Antioch, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of John W. Williams, Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma.
