Stephynne Dawn Stevens was born February 21, 1955, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Charles Newton and Ella Mae Stevens. She died October 6, 2023, after a long illness.
Stephynne lived in Wynnewood most of her life. She enjoyed mowing the yard, keeping house and spending time with her family and friends.
She earned a master’s degree from East Central University and worked as a rehabilitation specialist for the Department of Rehabilitation. She retired in 2022.
Stephynne’s family includes her two sons, Michael Johnson and wife Gladys and Richard Stevens and wife Toye, both of Wynnewood; seven grandchildren: Lynzi Stevens, Charles Johnson, Alex Sullivan, Dalton Stevens, Laura Williams, Trace Williams and Ross Williams; five great-grandchildren: Leevi, Adelaide, Aiden, Mary Jane and Kaylani; and brother Steve Stevens.
She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Dan, and her sisters Peggy, Charlene and Joyce.
