Drenda Sue Haseltine

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Drenda Sue Haseltine, who embarked on her heavenly journey on July 20, 2023. Born on January 26, 1948, in Richmond, California, Drenda’s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, faith, and service. A devout Christian, Drenda was a beacon of light and love within her church community. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, providing her with a deep reservoir of strength and compassion that she generously shared with all those around her. In the words of the Apostle Paul from Romans 8:38-39, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Drenda lived this verse with her whole heart. Drenda’s love for her family was profound. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and siblings, creating memories that will live on in their hearts. Drenda’s kindness was also a beacon to her clients at the shop, where she often went the extra mile to make house calls. In her downtime, she enjoyed playing the 3-13 card game and the marvel/card game Joker. An avid gardener, she loved watering her plants, watching the hummingbirds, and sharing meals out with friends. Every year, Drenda and her girlfriends eagerly anticipated their annual trip to the ocean, a tradition that brought immense joy and camaraderie. Drenda was a woman of character; she was kind, thoughtful, and an incredible friend to many. And yes, she never shied away from speaking her mind, a quality that made her even more endearing to those who knew her.

Drenda is survived by Kimberly (Gary) Pruett and Dan (Desiray) Lambert, her loving children; Noah Pashilk, Daniel Pashilk Lambert, Kelsey Edmonson, Emma Edmonson, Peyton Pruett, Jordyn Pruett, and Maggie Pruett, her cherished grandchildren; and her siblings, Danny (Shirley) Wright, Danny (Nancy) Dill, and Donna Harman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LT Wright, Helen Clarice Dill, and Joe Dill. While we mourn the loss of Drenda, we also celebrate her life and the love she gave us all. We invite you to share your cherished memories, stories, and photos of Drenda on her memorial page. It is through these shared recollections that Drenda’s spirit will continue to live on in all of us. As we remember Drenda, let us also remember the words of Revelation 21:4, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Let us celebrate the life of a beautiful soul, Drenda Haseltine.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, 10 AM, at Elmore City Cemetery in Elmore City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Dillon Funeral Service, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Condolences may be left at www.dilloncares.com.
