U.S. Highway 77 in Wynnewood was closed for several hours Tuesday morning due to a fire at the Wynnewood refinery that resulted in critical injuries to two plant employees.
Two Wynnewood refinery employees were critically injured in a fire at the facility Tuesday morning.
The fire began around 8:20 a.m. in the gasoline hydrotreater at the facility, according to a statement issued Tuesday by CVR Energy, which operates the refinery.
The two injured employees have been identified by friends and family as Eli Warren and Wes Foster.
