Janetta Ruth Vaughan was born December 1, 1931, to William and Levina Ada Mae (Pullen) Ramsey in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed away May 16, 2023, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Janetta was a very family-oriented lady who showed great love to her family. She was a great cook and really enjoyed cooking for them. She was a big fan of soap operas and playing Nintendo. Janetta enjoyed camping at the lake, often for weeks at a time. She also enjoyed gardening so they would have fresh vegetables for those delicious home cooked meals. She had a love for Christian music, the louder, the better. Janetta will be greatly missed by her family who loved her dearly. Those left behind to cherish her memories are daughters, Michelle Morehead and husband, David, and Bethany “Beth” Curry of Maysville, Oklahoma; son, Brad Vaughan, of Maysville; nine grandchildren, Lovina, Marci, Tina, Chrissy, Patricia, Joe, Jake, Heather, and Holli; 15 great-grandchildren, Chris, Andy, Aaron, Brandi, Beth, Justin, Falicia, Emmett, Lily, Severin, Gabe, Tanner, Eli, Olivia, and Jolee; 19 great-great grandchildren, Emilee, Skyleigh, Kinzleigh, Kenly, Jaden, Noah, Lambor, Eathon, Liam, Linken, Ledger, River, Ollie, Dusty, Ary, Elliot, Rhonnie, Daithan, and Zane.
Janetta was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Eugene Vaughan; sons, Michael Eugene Vaughan and Jimmy Boyd Vaughan; daughter, Ginger Kay Ramsey; sisters, Billie Ramsey, Amojean Hilderbrandt, Joy Townsend, and Marjorie Bennett; brother, Don Ramsey; and grandson, Nathan Brad Curry.
