Norma Qualls Davis

Norma Lou Qualls Davis, of Yukon, Oklahoma, was born May 30, 1928, in Byars, Oklahoma, to Howard and Rossie (Covel) Beller. She passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Oklahoma City at the age 94 years. Norma was a 1948 graduate of Byars High School. She married Leroy Qualls in 1948, and to this union three children were born before Mr. Qualls’ untimely death. Norma worked as a LPN in Pauls Valley, Storm Plastics in Maysville, and was a devoted farmer who loved being in the outdoors. The senior citizens center was her passion as she enjoyed being with her friends. She also enjoyed playing dominoes and cards every chance she got. Norma later married Ray Moore and then Oris Davis, and they both preceded her in death. She was proud to have taught Sunday School in every Assembly of God church she attended.

Her survivors include daughters, Brenda Hutcherson of Yukon and Kay Whitten of Piedmont, Oklahoma; son, Alan Dale Qualls of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; 10 and a half great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; sister, Bernice Loyd of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her husbands, Leroy Qualls, Ray Moore, and Oris Davis; brothers, Asie Beller and Coy Beller; and sisters, Vonda Smith and Janell Kirkes.

A visitation for family and friends was held Monday, May 22, before the services. Graveside services were held Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Maysville Cemetery with burial under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Oklahoma.
