Florence Lucile (Sally) Huey was born March 8, 1921, in Coal City, Indiana, and died at her home in Maysville on April 27, 2023. She was the daughter of Luther Klamans Klass and Dora Mae (Mishler) Klass. After graduation from high school, Florence worked in an ammunition plant and assembled bomb sights during World War II. She married O L Huey January 1, 1943, and moved to Maysville, Oklahoma, in 1946 where O L established his medical practice. Dr. Huey worked as a physician in Maysville for forty years and Florence assisted her husband in the office for many of those years. Florence was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Maysville for seventy-five years. She was preceded in death by husband, O L Huey; brother, Cleotus Klass; sister, Gladys Marshall; and great-grandson, Miles Huey.
She is survived by sons, Roger Huey and his wife, Mary Ann, and Dr. Wayne Huey and his wife, Dianne; grandchildren, Olivia Huey, Chris Huey, Brenda Young and Sheila Jones; great-grandchildren, Tristan Ryker, Rachel Ryker, Dustin Ryker, Hannah Hall-Earp, Olivia Hall, Kendall Hall, Aniston Jones and Liam Huey.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 1, 2023, at Winans Funeral Home Chapel in Maysville with Brother Mike Deviney officiating. Burial followed at Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John W.
