Feds: Oklahomans losing millions to scams

U.S. consumers reported losing nearly $8.8 billion to fraud in 2022, an increase of more than 30% over the previous year, according to new Federal Trade Commission data. The FTC report shows Oklahomans lost $54.6 million in 2022 based on 17,072 fraud reports filed. The median loss was $500.
