Amber Renae Minson was born March 25, 1987, to Rodney and Lisa Woods in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She passed away March 2, 2023, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She was baptized into Christ in 1996 at the young age of nine years old. She played many sports and excelled at basketball. Amber graduated from Alex Public Schools May of 2005. She attended the fall semester at Oklahoma State University. Amber married Zachery Minson December 31, 2005. In their seventeen years of marriage they lived in Moore, Oklahoma, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, San Antonio, Texas, and Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Amber was a stay-at-home mother and guided her family in their faithfulness to God. Amber loved her family and would always make each one special in her own way. Amber is survived by her husband, Zachery, of the home and children also of the home, Samuel Ray, Lydia Jean, and Abigail Neva Jo; her parents, Rodney and Lisa Woods and her sister Amy Woods; and by many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and brothers/sisters in Christ.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, David and Neva Jo Smith and Sue and Ronnie Woods.
A funeral service to honor the life of Amber (Woods) Minson was held March 6, 2023, at the Murray Hill Church of Christ located at 1605 NW 4th Street in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was laid to rest at the Alex Cemetery following the service.
