Michael Ray Wells was born September 25, 1944, in Pasadena, California, to Donald Ray Wells and Lorriane (Campbell) Wells. He passed away at his home in Stratford, Oklahoma, at the age of seventy-seven years, ten months and nine days.
Michael grew up in California and moved to Stratford a few years ago to be close to his brother. As a child he loved to work with his hands to invent things and so as an adult he became a Master Welder. He was very meticulous in everything he did.
He is predeceased by his parents; and one brother, John. Survivors include one son, DeWayne Wells; one daughter, Amy Sue Wells, both of California; two brothers, Dennis Ward and wife, Robin, of Byars, Oklahoma and Jimmy Dale Ward of Pocola, Oklahoma; one sister, Ruth Wells of Stratford; nephews, Travis, Austin and Sean Wells; four nieces, Donna Ashby, Kathleen Lancaster, Lacey Tello, and Tracy White.
Visitation was held Thursday evening in Dearman Funeral Home, Stratford. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2022, in DeArman/Pickard Chapel Stratford, Oklahoma.
