Opinion

Dear sir:

SCOTUS has struck down Roe V. Wade, and I cannot think of a better way to end “pride month.” Without a doubt the decision of January 22, 1973, was the most immoral atrocity handed down by that court. In almost 50 years we have killed more than 62,000,000 innocent babies. May God forgive us of our stupidity as a nation. Let us commend the decision of June 24, 2022.

Let your mind go back to the 1973 decision. Norma McCorvey was the “Jane Roe” whose lawsuit led to the 1973 ruling. “Norma McCorvey admitted to columnist Carl Rowan that her gang-rape story was a fabrication to bolster her legal claim… McCorvey said she became pregnant ‘though what I thought was love’…” (U. S. News and World Report, September 21, 1987, page 13). The word “fabrication” is a fancy word for “lie.” That means that our nation, for thirty-five years, knew the 1973 decision was based on a lie!

Infanticide was a common practice in heathen nations. They sacrificed newborn babies to their idols. America, for almost fifty years has killed infants while in the mother’s womb. One of the saddest sights I have even seen is hundreds of women, parading to demand their “right” to kill their children. President Ronald Reagan rightfully proclaimed: “Our nation’s wide policy of abortion on demand was neither voted on by our people nor enacted by our legislators…It was an act of raw judicial power.”

More important, God declared: “I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live…” (Deuteronomy 30:19).

Those who uphold and participate in abortions will answer to a higher power than SCOTUS ever imagined!
