Local kids had the opportunity for a "hands-on" encounter with a variety of animals, including this yellow Burmese python, during the Extreme Animals program at Wacker Park on Tuesday. The event was hosted by Pauls Valley's Nora Sparks Warren Library as part of their summer reading program activities.
