Konawa: May 15. Elevation is normal, water temperature 72°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, jigs and plastic baits around main lake, points and weed beds. Striped hybrid and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, sassy shad and spoons around coves, discharge, main lake and river channel. Lower Mountain Fork River Trout Area: May 13. Elevation is normal, water temperature 57°F and clear. Texoma: May 15. Elevation is normal, water temperature 82°F and stained. Striped bass good on cut bait, live bait and live shad around channels, creek channels, main lake, points and river channel. Blue catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, hot dogs, live shad, punch bait, shad, stinkbait and sunfish below the damn, along channels, coves, creek channels, docks, points and river channel. Black crappie fair on grubs, jigs, minnows, PowerBait and small lures around brush structure, coves, docks, points, rocks and standing timber. Fishing this week has been good. Striper have been biting very well this week. They are being caught south of the railroad bridge and near Washita point. Look for ledges near channels in 30-40 ft. water. Live shad have been the go-to for striper. Blue cats are biting on live shad and cut bait in 20-38ft of water. Crappie have been biting on jigs with PowerBait in 3-16ft of water.
