Wanda Louise Vails, of Ada, Oklahoma, was born May 19, 1960, in Odessa, Texas, to Billy Jack Vails Sr. and Hazel (Barker) Vails. She passed away on April 22, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years. She grew up around the Wilson, Oklahoma, area and graduated from Wilson High school. She spent her career in restaurant management. She loved watching “Law and Order,” going to the casinos and her dog, Niki. She was a free spirit who spoke her mind. She lived in this area for the past six years.
Wanda was preceded by her son, David Vails; her parents, Billy Jack Vails Sr. and Hazel Vails; three brothers, Billy Jack Jr., Bobby and Royce Vails.
Survivors include her son, Blake McGee; brother, Vernon Vails; three nieces, Connie Vails, Amy Warren, and Katarina Duke; and two nephews, Jerod and Ryan Vails.
Graveside services were held April 28, 2022, in Byars Cemetery, Byars, Oklahoma, with Ron McGee officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of DeArman-Pickard Funeral Home.
