Chickasaw Nation storm shelter program

When spring arrives with brightly colored daffodils and jonquils, a danger to Chickasaw citizens presents itself as well. Tornadoes are more likely to strike in April, May and June, according to the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma.
