KENNETH PAUL LEACH

Kenneth Paul Leach was born March 1, 1939, in Maysville, Oklahoma, and passed away February 14, 2022, at home in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Kenneth attended school through high school in Maysville. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, and his Master's degree from Oklahoma State University. In college, he played football, and participated in shot-put and discus throw events.

Kenneth's career included coaching sports, teaching home construction and carpentry, remodeling homes, building homes, and ended as the Director of Operations for Choctaw High in Oklahoma. Over the years, many students have communicated how impactful Kenneth's teaching and mentorship was and that it helped them over their lives.

Kenneth was a gentle, quiet, kind, patient, and talented man. He was also an artist, athlete, and painter, and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

He left a legacy of the value of honest and hard work, and the importance of caring for others. He will be greatly missed and his legacy will live on in the many lives he touched.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his former spouse and mother of his children, Wanda Leach; his parents, Eugene and Cleo Leach; and his sister, Kathryn York.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Leach; daughters, Kathy Williams, Michelle Smith and husband, Stan, Sharon Weir and husband, Jim, Jennifer Osburn and husband, Kelly; sons, Scott Robertson and Michael Robertson; brother, Lowell Leach and wife, Erna; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
