Kathryn (Katie) Cobb of Stratford, Oklahoma, was born August 18, 1942, in Long Beach, California, to Edward and Betty (Whitlock) Wall. She passed away in the Family Care Facility in Kingston, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years, five months and four days.
Katie grew up in Carson, California, and graduated high school. After graduation, she met the love of her life, Earl Cobb. They were married October 24, 1961, in Las Vegas, Nevada, moving to Stratford, Oklahoma, many years ago where they raised their family. Katie loved being a mother and housewife, and anything to do with her children or grandchildren was very important to her. She was at every event in their lives. She was a big fan of Elvis, Blake Shelton, and most of all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always greeted everyone with a beautiful smile.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Betty Wall; her husband, Earl; and sister, Tanya Foregay.
Survivors include her son, Eddie Cobb and wife, Becky, of Kingston, Oklahoma; daughter, Sheila Cobb of Ada, Oklahoma; sister, Nancy Prince and husband, Clifford, of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Brandon Cobb and wife, Amanda, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Stephen Cobb of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Logan Cobb and wife, Christen, of Stratford, Tatum Cobb of Ada, Tanner Washington and Molly Humphrey, both of Ada; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday during regular business hours. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022, in Romulus Cemetery, north of Asher, Oklahoma, with Rev. Richard Atzbach officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of DeArman-
