Bring the entire family and celebrate Christmas at the Murray-Lindsay Mansion in Lindsay Sunday, Dec. 5, from 1-4 p.m.
The Murray-Lindsay family moved into the mansion just in time for their first Christmas in December of 1881. The Lindsay Community Historical Society invites you to come step back in time for this year’s Christmas season. Come see Santa, enjoy punch, cider, cookies and snacks, and walk through the beautifully decorated historic Murray-Lindsay Mansion, located south of Lindsay on State Highway 76.
The Lindsay Community Historical Society will be offering photos with Santa from 1-3:30 p.m. on the third floor of the mansion. The 5x7 photos will cost $5 each or three for $10.
The historical society has also created a limited number of calendars featuring photos from the beautiful Lindsay-Murray Mansion and Pikes Peak School. Calendars are $20 and include a personalized pen from the organization.
Proceeds from Santa photos and calendar sales will go toward repairs of the mansion and school. Anyone interested in purchasing a calendar may call 405-756-6375.
